What is the Epic class code? ›

How can I find my class code? When you log into Epic on the web or from your mobile device, you can find your class code on the Dashboard tab. Your class code is an auto-generated 7-character alphanumeric password that is completely unique to you and your students!

If your child's teacher is using Epic at school, you can log in to use Epic for free from 7am to 3pm local time, M-F, using the class code from your teacher.

Do I need a credit or debit card for remote access to Epic? No payment card is required to sign up for the free remote access to Epic, just an email address. Please make sure you use the invitation sent by your scholar's teacher for Remote Student Access to use the full program during remote learning.

Is there any way for my students to read after 3 p.m.? Yes! Your students and their families can use Epic before and after school and on weekends by subscribing to Epic Unlimited.

You can even have multiple teacher accounts/classes on one app! If you already have your students in Google Classroom, you can connect the two! This will save you some time adding your students into Epic.

Epic.com is a reading platform for students 12 and under. It offers a growing library of books, audiobooks, and learning videos to help kids become stronger readers. As a teacher, you can create your class on Epic, add students, and start sharing reading materials with them.

Monthly: With a monthly plan, you pay $11.99 USD per month - there's no commitment, you can cancel at any time.

If you want to maintain access to Epic all summer, you must first sign up for Remote Student Access (this is the same level of access you have through Clever). On July 1, Epic will transition you to "Epic Free" for the rest of the summer.

Why do teachers use Epic? ›

Epic! uses reading levels and age markers as ways to help find titles for students to read. This not only helps in the setting of work, by teachers, but also in the tracking of student progress through the varying levels.

The program has more than 50 badges including Reading Rebel, Epic Wizard, Zoo Keeper, Interstellar Seeker, and The Mad Chef. By completing specific activities – learning about banned books, reading books about space, preparing a meal – kids unlock digital badges.

Epic was created by two parents who recognized a need for a safe place for their own children to read, learn and explore on their devices. They understood that the internet wasn't built for kids, and with these concerns in mind, Epic was born.

The pages turn automatically as the audio plays. Green-tagged Read-to-Me books can be downloaded to read offline and count towards the total number of books finished for badges and achievements! Read-to-Me books offer a follow-along word highlighting feature to help kids improve their reading skills on Epic.

When you log into Epic School, you can find your class code on the left-hand side of your dashboard. To get a new class code: Login to your educator dashboard. Go to your class roster.
